I am very pleased to offer this lovely vintage MONOBRIDGE Mah Jong game for adoption from my personal Mah Jong collection.

This is the only style of game that Monobridge of Fifth Avenue, New York ever made. Monobridge games are easily recognized by their distinctive one bamboo.

I do hope someone might take this game into their home and love it. Perhaps someone wants to start off with an inexpensive vintage game - they are so much more fun to play with than the brand new games.

The game has 152 tiles making it ready for NMJL (National Mah Jong League) rules and has 8 natural flowers, 2 bouquets numbered 1-4, plus 8 tiles from another partial Monobridge game that have been stickered to be used as jokers.

This game does have some rather lovely swirled burgundy Bakelite racks. They are vintage "ASHRACKS" - exactly as the name describes, they come with ash trays at the end of the racks. You can almost imagine players furiously moving their tiles in play whilst a cigarette sits ready for the next puff. In case you were wondering there is no smoke odor remaining and I don't think these have actually been used for ash - they look almost unmarked!

The case is sturdy and really nice and clean and the latches work well. The handle is also still secure and working.

No matter the style of game you play (Chinese or NMJL) this game is ready for play right out of the box !

REMEMBER: Despite my age I have many more years of life left in me ... I may be a little more worn than some games on this website but I know someone will still find me lovable :)
